It addresses the common problems of traditional rigging methods damaging the bait’s body and causing bait loss by featuring an integrated dual-wire locking pin positioned directly beneath its physical axis. When rigging, the dual-wire simply passes straight through the center of the urchin bait, allowing the angler to bend and secure the wire to lock the bait rigidly into the dead center of the quad hook. This axial fixation keeps the bait firmly in place, preventing shifting during hard distance casts or aggressive rod jerks. It also helps prevent the bait from being thrown off when big fish jump and shake during the fight. Because the wire feeds directly through the center, the four hook points sit perfectly and evenly around the 360° perimeter of the urchin bait.
